Is it possible to send the recorded audio from one mic to two devices at once and listen to both of those devices at the same time? (Just Mixer M) |
Most mixers are one-way devices, including this one. So you can record audio from one mic and sent it to 2 devices, or you can receive audio from those two devices via one set of headphones (or speakers, etc.) but it's not possible to do both at once. To do both, you would need to separate the signal from the mic into one signal path, and the audio from the devices into another signal path. |
Ordered this and condenser mics, w/. trying to set up condenser mics thru the Just Mixer M. XLR to iec to mixer, USB to Mac. will not record, ne1 ? |
I used Audacity for Mac. It takes a bit of figuring out settings. Most important: Audacity must recognize the Just Mixer M as the input. Make sure your Mac settings show Just Mixer M as the input, not internal mic. Also, try multiple variances of all of the switches on the board (48V vs 1.5V; USB vs LINE; and the black switch on the side). |
