Would this be considered a mic preamp...that would boost a mic output? (Just Mixer M) |
Yes, you can control the gain for the mic input as well as other input devices. You can also control the overall volume as well. It’s a nice unit and I have four of them that I use to control audio from my computer, iPhone and a headset with microphone. |
I have 2 condenser mics (both require phantom power) with standard xlr connectors. Do I need adapters to connect to the mixers mic inputs? (Just Mixer M) |
Yes, adapters will be needed as the Just Mixer M has 3.5mm connectors. The Just Mixer M Premium edition does include one XLR-to-3.5mm adapter as well as some other accessories, so you could consider that option and purchase one additional adapter separately, or go with the Basic package and get 2 adapters separately. |
Can we record in *stereo* to the ipad with usb output to ipad ? (sandy from maker hart already confirmed me that we can directly connect to an ipad) (Just Mixer M) |
If the input is stereo, the mixer will output stereo. For microphones, a mono mic will be output to both left and right channels (the mic inputs are intended to receive the sound from one mic each, so in effect it is mono). |
